Day One

Okay so day one is here and the above is a photo of Charlie and I taken when she was 6 months old (so its 31/2 years old!!!) There arent many pictures of me as I am usually the one taking the photos so this will have to do. Too weather beaten to take a pic today!!! Where on earth is this winter weather coming from :(

So my day so far....
Meet Charlie and Nanna Carol at the coffee shop near ballet as Charlie stayed down at Rosebud with Nanna and Grandpa last night as we had to go to a funeral. Got a lovely cup of coffee and headed to ballet where the parents had a lesson on hair and makeup for this weeks dress rehearsal. Yikes I have to put make up on my child and her hair has to be a "Pollyanna"!!! Had no clue what that was until this morning but it sounds easy enough, will just require a ton of spray as the poor child has my curly unruly hair :( Also got her crocodile costume which is very cute. She is in two dances, first as a crocodile then as a beautiful pixie in a hot pink tutu :)
Came home from there made someone a vegemite sandwich for lunch and dont plan to do to much today except try and stay warm, fire is lit and pjs are on already LOL.

Actually at the moment we are in the middle of a pretend game, Charlie is Daphne and I am Velma, two of the Tomliboo's are Shaggy and Freddy and Scooby is Scooby. Apparently there are creatures at the door so guess I better help fend them off !!!
